Description

Bag in box: the future of packaging for extra virgin olive oil for home use

Olio Extravergine d’oliva
Since 2018, we have been packaging our precious olive oil using this packaging: the oil is packaged in a bag protected by an elegant—and at the same time practical—box equipped with a dispenser.

Once you try this storage technique, you will not want to go back.

The bag protects the oil from light and contact with air which would alter the organoleptic properties of the oil, just as happens when you open a can and transfer the content into various bottles. Thanks to this technology, when the oil is dispensed from the tap, no oxygen enters the container.

This packaging has an eco-friendly soul: unlike traditional cans on the market, it is made of paper and therefore easily recyclable

Included in the package

Olio Extravergine d’oliva
For each 5-liter bag in box of Monocultivar Moraiolo extra virgin olive oil, you will also receive one 500ml empty bottle with our stain-resistant label.

The bottle can be filled as many times as you want for a more practical and faster use of our extra virgin olive oil.

Moraiolo Extra Virgin Olive Oil: A Complex and Rich Sensory Profile

Olio Extravergine d’oliva
Moraiolo extra virgin olive oil is a true expression of complexity and aromatic richness, extracted from olives of the Moraiolo cultivar typical of Umbria, characterized by a harmonious balance between taste and aroma.

This cultivar stands out for its intense fruitiness, where herbaceous notes, olive leaves, artichoke, and green almond emerge, a combination that translates into an explosion of distinctive fruity aromas.

Taste-wise, Moraiolo presents an interesting duality of bitterness and spiciness, both of medium-high intensity, which balance excellently, giving the oil extraordinary liveliness and depth of flavor. The persistence of these sensations is long, leaving a pleasant and lasting impression on the palate.

Moraiolo extra virgin olive oil also stands out for its aromatic complexity, ranging from herbaceous to fruity, with spicy accents and a slight sweetness, offering a rich and satisfying sensory experience.

This versatility makes it a precious ingredient in the kitchen, capable of adding depth and character to a wide range of dishes, confirming its position as one of the most appreciated choices by connoisseurs.

Moraiolo Monocultivar Extra Virgin Olive Oil: Culinary Pairings

Olio Extravergine d’oliva Moraiolo
Moraiolo extra virgin olive oil, with its perfect balance of bitterness and spiciness and its rich aromatic complexity, pairs beautifully with a wide range of dishes.
Ideal for field salads and grilled vegetables, it enhances flavors with its herbaceous notes.

It is also perfect for dressing robust soups and legumes, where its distinctive taste can really shine.

This oil pairs very well with grilled meats.

Finally, drizzling Moraiolo on aged cheeses or freshly baked bread reveals its aromatic explosion, elevating every tasting.

Sacred Geometry for Our Inner Well-being: The Torus

Olio Extravergine d’oliva Moraiolo
We have adopted symbolic elements that are part of humanity’s history and thus are capable of combining aesthetics with meaning, and imprinting a memory on those who see them.

Following the principles of quantum physics and Dr. Masaru Emoto’s protocol for transmitting information and vibrations to olive oil, we have chosen to associate these symbols with the glass bottles that contain our elixir “Oilalà.”

On the bottle of Monocultivar Moraiolo extra virgin oil, you will find the sacred geometry “torus.”

The torus is a primordial geometric figure, embodying harmony and perfection. This ancestral symbol represents the infinite cycle of life, uniting the macrocosm and the microcosm in a divine balance. Its elegant and endless shape emits positive energy, bringing a sense of tranquility and connection.

The Torus represents cycles, renewal, and the idea that energy and life never end; they recycle and flow continuously through a consistent cycle of creation and dissolution.

But not only that, the Earth’s electromagnetic field – technically called the Van Allen belts – and the electromagnetic field of the human heart are toroids.

Our Monocultivar Moraiolo extra virgin olive oil is enriched by the Torus because we believe it can contribute to the inner and outer well-being of people who use it.

The Production Method Plays a Fundamental Role

Olio Extravergine d’oliva Moraiolo ideale per condire tutti i tuoi piatti
Our EVO Oilalà Moraiolo oil is exclusively obtained from Moraiolo variety olives.

From the moment of the olive harvest, which takes place between the end of October and the beginning of November, to the milling in the mill, less than 4 hours pass.

In this way, we guarantee the freshness of the product and the perfect preservation of its organoleptic properties.

The milling occurs at cold temperatures using modern continuous cycle machines.

This allows for the preservation of the organoleptic characteristics of the EVO oil, retaining all the properties of the olives, the amount of minerals, vitamins, and antioxidant substances for the body.

Once the oil is extracted, we filter it to remove the last particles of olive pulp and vegetation water, which could over time deteriorate the integrity of the oil.

Only in this way can we extract the maximum quality from an excellent variety like Moraiolo and obtain an oil that is extremely fresh, genuine, and with a distinctive taste.
