Bag in box: the future of packing extra virgin olive oil for home consumption.
Since 2018 we use to pack our prestigious olive oil in this innovative packaging composed of a “bag” and a “box” with a dispenser. It will become your favorite long lasting olive oil with no organoleptic properties waste!
The bag protects the olive oil from light and air contact. In fact it is known that light and air exposure compromise the organoleptic properties of olive oil. This is a typical issue when opening an olive oil can to refill the smaller bottles.
Thanks to this technology, oxygen does not enter the box. Our bag in box is eco-friendly, made of a special cardboard, easily recyclable, compared to the classic aluminium cans, more difficult to recycle.
The oil inside is the Peranzana organic extra virgin olive oil from the Monocultivar line of Oilalà,
obtained from organic olive groves, without the use of pesticides or other chemical substances.
It is characterized as an oil with a medium fruity taste, with pleasant hints of white fruit, lettuce and notes of toasted almonds and a slight spiciness.
Best to dress your seafood or fish salads, boiled fishes, steamed shrimps or more classical dishes like salads, pasta or raw vegetables.
